I did need to search for the xap file, but once I found it and coded the config and data xml files, worked great! Thanks.

Reviewed: Release 2.1 (五月 12, 2010)

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - I love slide.show for a long time. From the slide.show 1 to slide.show 2, your guys really do a great job. Thanks.

Reviewed: Slide.Show 2 (initial release) (Jul 12, 2009)

Rated 3 Stars (out of 5) - Heads up: the so called "stable version" dated Oct 24 2008 sucks, nothing works and it's buggy as hell. Look for Scott Beeler's latest update, this fixes the worst omissions and makes it an acceptable means of showing foto's on your website. It's easy to download the outdated junk since this is what is presented in your face when you enter this site, go to "Source Code" for the good stuff.

I only found it after Scott sent me a link, this site seems oddly organized, presenting outdated junk in your face while better versions are available.

Reviewed: Slide.Show 2 (initial release) (Jul 12, 2009)

Rated 3 Stars (out of 5) - I wasn't too thrilled at first, XmlConfiguration didn't work and the overall experience was quite buggy. Scott Beeler's update fixes the XmlConfiguration and makes the experience a lot more solid though. He also added the possibility to change the startup behavior, you can now initially see the album index instead of just the first album immediately flipping photo's.

Reviewed: Slide.Show 2 (initial release) (Jul 07, 2009)

Rated 3 Stars (out of 5) - I wasn't too thrilled at first, XmlConfiguration didn't work and the overall experience was quite buggy. Scott Beeler's update fixes the XmlConfiguration and makes the overall experience a lot more solid though. I don't like the startup behavior where the first album just starts running and it doesn't seem possible to change that through configuration yet.

Reviewed: Slide.Show 2 (initial release) (Jul 04, 2009)

Rated 2 Stars (out of 5) - I'm not too thrilled yet. It starts off nice, is well documented and all but it isn't finished. It works, sort of, half... Custom configuration doesn't work at all. Good stuff to dive into if you want to learn Silverlight (which was my objective). If you just want something that works well you should look further.

Reviewed: Slide.Show 2 (initial release) (Mar 19, 2009)

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Great software, once installed works very well and is highly configurable. Only downside is it took me a long while to get working, until it was pointed out in the forum that I needed to set up a MIME type for .xap files which was very simple to do. May be add a trouble shooting guide to the quick install guide
